Dutch Kennel Club (Raad van Beheer)
The ‘Raad van Beheer’ is the Organization in the Netherlands that represents the relationship between humans and dogs. This is not just about all kinds of activities you can do with your dog, such as sports or show, but also to the breeding of healthy dogs. Cynology stands for everything that has to do with this particular relationship. Therefore, the full name is Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in Nederland. Abroad they speak mostly about ‘Kennel Club’.
Dog from a good nest? Choose a Pedigree dog!
A Pedigree dog is a dog with an official pedigree. A pedigree is a document containing information about the ancestors of the dog. So you know who his parents are but also his grandpas and grandmas. That is important to know because a lot of the features of your dog will get from his parents. A dog with an official pedigree is always registered with the Dutch Kennel Club (Raad van Beheer).
